this is so funny yet not funny at the same time. What Bush did to this country in eight years is going to take so long to undo, if it all can be undone. Now Obama’s got to clean up Bush’s shit at the same time trying to spend money doing good things for the country which is only adding to the debt cause there’s no money to spend on any good stuff cause Bush spent it all on the bad stuff and all of a sudden the whole deficit is Obama’s fault. And Maher thinks Republicans are dumb.
i also agree bush is the worst president we’ve seen in a while, but saying “selling the ports to an arab nation” is disingenious. it wasn’t an arab nation, it was a company based in dubai with american businessmen in charge. and even if it was an arabic company, we’re not allowed to do business with them? dubai is one of our allies, have supported us for ages, and we can’t treat them like equals? the way to win the hearts and minds of the middle east is not to exclude them, but to open dialogue.
