Larry Abraham noted that they do not have the capability now, but we should make it clear that if they do develop the capability that [the US] should take them out. He asked, if we’re going to be a world power, shouldn’t we act like a world power? * A questioner from the audience asked: why should we be a world power? The point of being a world power is so that we can DEFEND ourselves not so that we can go around beating up on others, he went on to ask D’Souza, why do you think the constitution is for the entire world? * D’Souza responded by saying the founders didn’t make the constitution for the world, our civil rights are ours. But the constitution arose from universal principles, everyone is entitled to liberty. Another 911 will destroy freedom in America, if it occurs the US will have to become like Israel, a police state. Since there’s been no attack since, everyone has been able to relax and rest easy. * Ron Paul responded to D’Souza by saying that he too fears more 911’s as a threat to our freedom. But the threat is not from a foreign power, it’s from more Patriot Acts, more National ID Acts, more loss of habeas corpus — and that’s coming from our government. If we want to spread our goodness it should be without force by setting a good example, having a vibrant economy, and minding our own business where people will want to emulate us. Dinesh is wrong the founders did not apply the freedoms to women, children, or slaves. Women & slaves got it later. Children still do not have all the rights of adults.
America need not give anything, but hell to anyone outside the USA that fuck with us. A second 9/11 means merely a second 9/11 unless we make it into the loss of our freedom.
If a 2nd 9/11, then don’t bother making democracy. Instead, remove all humans from Saudia Arabia, Iraq, & Iran forever & keep freedom in the USA.

D’Souza’s logic is mind-bendingly stupid. The man never ceases to amaze me. When the constraints of logic are taken away, you can just let your mind run free and imagine all kinds of idiotic things. It’s like he’s high… really, REALLY high.

If radical muslims groups are only out to kill Americans then explain to me this. How come they only attacked the US for the first time in the early eighties in lebanon? The US has been around for over 200 years. It has been spreading “ideals” since ww2. So why it did not start til the eighties? You want to fight the War against radical Islam yet you are even racially profiling Christian and Jewish Arabs lol
If the US government really believed that there is a real danger from radical muslims, then they would secure the US borders and the Ports. To this day the security in the US in unbelievably incompetent. And this is SEVEN years after 9/11. But instead of spending money on securing the borers they spend monty on a pointless war and military bases in 100 countries.
Speaking of mental here is a history lesson for you. The US administration said that if the Vietcons ever took over South Vietnam they the rest of South East Asia will be communist. Well we know non of that happened. No WMD in Iraq. Rumsfeld said in 2003 that the insurgency in Iraq was not a threat. Bush said many times “we are winning the war in Iraq” then he said “we are winning but we are not losing’ Now they say pulling out will be disasterous yet people still believe them!!!

I find it sad and funny that the US says we want to defeat terrorists by killing them. Yet, what the US is doing in Iraq is increasing the number of terrorists/suicide bombers and insurgents. It says they attack us because of our freedom yet the only one who took freedoms away for the American people is the US government via the Patriot act. They talk about freedom of speech yet bush said “let us NOT tolerate outragrous conspiracty theorirs”. And the guy who said US did not give saddam gass lied
Freedom in Iraq my ass. Today, Monsanto is banning Iraqis from recycling and reusing seeds which is something Iraqis did for thousands of years. Now they have to buy seeds from Monsanto who creates dangerous chemicals found in the foods that you eat. That “democracy” in Iraq is controlled
One thing cannot be debated. The ones who killed, opresed and threatened the freedoms of more Native Americans than any one els are the Western Powers not the muslims. Infact, even if muslims kill all nativ americans today they could not out compete the west in killing natives cause the west has already done 99 percent of the job.
Even if you kill ALL the insurgents in Iraq. What is gonna stop more and more foreign fighters from flooding iraq and continuing the fight? Nothing. You know why? cause ever since the Iraq war, the US has never sealed the Iraqi borders shut which an easy thing to do given that most of Iraq is desert. As for the mountains in the north, northern Iraq is safe anyway cause its under the control of the kurds. The US does not want to stop the war.
