    Democracy is a cliche now? Sir, I contend that you have no idea what it is like to live in a dictatorship. I think you should read some books.

    So you prefer what the Iraqis had before? A murderous dictator and his sons ruling by terror and force? Your opinion would have went over big in nazi Germany.

    Hey smsmith, democides occurred all across Africa at the same time of Hussein’s democide. For example, in 1994, Rwandans killed between 500,000 and 1,000,000 of their own people in the name of ethnic cleansing (that’s between ten and twenty percent of the population at the time). Why didn’t we “rescue” them from the atrocities they faced? I thought our government, that is SO humanitarian, would have saved them…

    This war is not about freedom, liberty, democracy or any of that other crap. This war is about war profiteering, whether you choose to believe it or not.
