US troops serving in Iraq took time out to celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday. They say while the festivities aren’t what they are used to at home they are glad they can share this meal, with their new, extended family. (Nov. 26)
We have a huge war going on right here in the US. Not one damn thing is being done about it either, not one damn thing!
You think it is only about Iraq?? You are wrong..Homelessness is at an all time high. Tons of people cannot get work, nor will they ever because of how screwed up this economy is. I have never seen the economy so poor……

Do I support this “war” – not at all. Do I support our troops- 100%! They are individuals, some are just youngsters who were trying to get a job in a bad labor market then said, “uh-oh”. Some are very patriotic. Either way, they are our kin. I wish we weren’t over there but we are. I can only hope for the safe return of our guys & gals… SOON!
