You think Iraq was bad? Invading Iran ‘would be lunacy’

What was the purpose of invading Iraq the 1st time under Bush Senior?

We invaded Iraq to help Kuwait protect its oil.
(as if sacrificing human life for oil is a worthy cause.)
and this was Iraq vs. Kuwait.
Didn’t President Washington warn us not to stick our nose in foreign business?
Kuwait’s not even a close ally.

How about instead of invading Iraq we invest one percent of that money into Olympic Sports?
