From town criers to pigeon messengers; from tablets and scrolls to newspapers; from radio and TV coverage to news online the way news spreads throughout the world has changed with times. News updates people on whats happening and where it’s happening, news shapes opinions and influences the lives of people. It is news that mobilizes help in times of natural disasters or terrorist attacks.

Sorry to start a blog with such a gloomy headline but it’s true, every day is the end of the world as we know it. There is no past, there is no future, only the present, the here and now and that now is constantly changing, always has, always will do.

So, the end of the world as we know it? Yes, it will be never be the same again, but that one potentially scary statement creates a massive opportunity for everyone of us. We’re lucky enough to spend a few mortal years on this very mortal coil so we should make the most of it. Yes, WE can change the world, because it is forever changing, it has never been EXACTLY like it is right at this very moment. Whoosh! It’s changed again. Just like that. Every millisecond it happens, things grow, things change, things die, a constant circle of evolution. Within that constant cycle there are some natural life forces at work, one of which I’d like to talk about, the battle between good and bad, positive and negative, darkness and light.

In my younger years and in my naivety I used to think I could change the world, I could make the WHOLE world good, let everybody SEE the light, let everyone become a positive force for mankind, for the planet and to a lesser extent, the Universe. But with the few grey hairs that have started to appear comes the realisation that all that wild dreaming is simply impossible. Because quite naturally, there is good and bad within us all and because of that, we will have good and bad families, villages, towns, corporations, countries, coalitions. Now I’m not here to decide what is ‘good’ and what is ‘bad’ but I certainly know of the conflict that runs within myself, a constant battle between the ‘good’ (do more for charity, spend more time with family, make a difference) and the ‘bad’ (smoke, drink, gamble, don’t give a damn, what’s it all matter anyway). To be honest, that ‘battle’ ebbs and flows so there are some days when I’m ‘good’ and there are some days when I’m ‘bad’. There are some days when I’m a little of both. 50/50. Split down the middle.

So it is with the rest of the world, some people are mostly good (say Mother Theresa) and some people are mostly bad (say Hitler) but noone is 100% one side of the ledger, 100% of the time. So it is with people, so it is with government, we all sway and teeter on the balance of life. In Universal terms, most of the times this teetering does not matter because in the end it all works itself out, some years the bad guys win, some years the good guys win. Life is not like the movies, life has unhappy endings.

That brings me to the main point of this article because this ‘battle of balance’ in the end does not matter so much. Look at any 100 year old graveyard and tell me that the daily ‘battles’ of those buried there really mattered, in the end. I am deliberately keeping this to the Earthly realm and I’m certainly not going to get into a spiritual debate about judgment day etc. Because that is exactlty what I want to talk about, the end. Life’s daily battles between good and bad, whether at a personal or governmental level matter so much less unless there is death involved.

The day to day stuff will right itself in the end, it is a natural law, for every postive action there is an equal negative action. But with death comes this enormous finality. For that person, for that thing, there is no further chance to play the game of balance, their game is over. That is why we all need to become involved in issues that involve death. Whether it be war, starvation, disease or simply the death of planet through global warming, we all need to TRY and make a difference. Try and stop the madness, stop the dark side from winning.

Because, in the end, it will matter a lot. We have got to stop looking at war as the answer to foreign policy, religious differences and fuel shortages (don’t get me started on Iraq, the US, the UK, Australia, Israel and Lebanon). We have got to stop accepting that people STARVE to death (can you imagine a more painful and horrendous death?). Stop accepting that people die in THAT part of the world from THAT but they do not die from THAT in THIS part of the world. We have to stop standing by and watching while corrupt governments massacre innocent civilians (don’t get me started on Rwanda, the UN and Sudan). We have got to STOP voting for politicians that accept these things. We have got to address global warming – now!

I realize these are ALL big issues with no easy and single answer. Most of the solutions lay in governments of countries having to cooperate with each other. Most of the solutions lay with the people and governments of the richer countries. In short, we, they have to give MORE to those less fortunate. You don’t need any Nash formula to work that one out. We have too much, they have too little. Share it around. Sure we’ll have less, but we’ve got LOADS, let’s give THEM some.

That’s the problem that really scares me. Global warming is now a matter of EVERYBODY working together to save the planet but in the history of mankind, we have never been able to achieve that. We’ve always been at war somewhere on the planet (in recorded history has the world ever experienced ONE peaceful day?). We have also never had the technology to destroy the entire planet. Maybe it’s time for the light workers to come out of the darkness and start to share their incredible positive forces. Or else, in the end, we will ALL see the light. Sadly, the light in the form of a nuclear explosion or the light from a sun that burns too brightly and is no longer our friend.

Greek philosophy was able to find some short-lived support by the newly created Islamic Caliphate (Islamic Empire) in the Middle East. With the development of Islam in the 7th and 8th centuries, a period of Islamic scholarship lasted until the 15th century. The Middle Ages is known as the Islamic Golden Age in the Middle East. These were the times when the Islamic civilization and Islamic scholarship flourished. The use of a single language, Arabic, allowed communication without need of a translator was the main factor for this. Translations of Greek texts from Egypt and the Byzantine Empire, and Sanskrit texts from India, provided Islamic scholars a knowledge base to build upon. In addition, there was the Hajj. This annual pilgrimage to Mekka made it possible for scholar collaboration by bringing together people and new ideas from all over the Islamic world.

In earlier Islamic versions of the scientific method, ethics played an important role. Islamic scholars used previous work in medicine, astronomy and mathematics as bedrock to develop new fields like alchemy. In mathematics, the Persian mathematician Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi gave his name to the concept of the algorithm, while the term algebra is derived from al-jabr, the beginning of the title of one of his publications. What is now known as Arabic numerals originally came from India, but Muslim mathematicians did make several refinements to the number system, such as the introduction of decimal point notation. Sabian mathematician Al-Battani (850-929) contributed to astronomy and mathematics, while Persian scholar Al-Razi contributed to chemistry.

Use of these works can be seen in Damascus steel (wootz steel). Arab alchemy was an inspiration to Roger Bacon, and later to Isaac Newton. Al-Batani improved the measurements of Hipparchus, which is preserved in the translation of the Greek Hè Megalè Syntaxis (the great treatise) translated as Almagest. Around year 900, Al-Batani improved the precision of the measurement of the precession of the earth’s axis, thus continuing a millennium’s legacy of measurements in his own land Babylonia and Chaldea, the area now known as Iraq. The corrections made to the geocentric model by Al-Battani, Averroes, Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, Mo’ayyeduddin Urdi and Ibn al-Shatir were later incorporated into the Copernican heliocentric model. Heliocentric theories were also discussed by several other Muslim astronomers such as Abu-Rayhan Biruni, Abu Said Sinjari, Qutb al-Din al-Shirazi, and ‘Umar al-Katibi al-Qazwini.

Muslim scientists put more emphasis on experiments than the Greeks did. This led us up to the modern scientific method being developed in the Muslim world, where significant progress in methodology was made, beginning with the experiments of Ibn al-Haytham (Alhazen) on optics from around year 1000, which can be seen in his Book of Optics. The most important development of the scientific method developed by muslim scientists, was the use of experiments to distinguish between competing scientific theories set within a generally empirical orientation. bn al-Haytham is also regarded as the father of optics, especially for his empirical proof of the intromission theory of light. Some have also described Ibn al-Haytham as the “first scientist” for his development of the modern scientific method.

Muslim chemists and alchemists played an important role in the foundation of modern chemistry. Scholars such as Will Durant and Alexander von Humboldt regard Muslim chemists to be the founders of chemistry. In particular, Geber is regarded as the “father of chemistry”. The works of Arab chemists influenced Roger Bacon (who introduced the empirical method to Europe, strongly influenced by his reading of Arabic writers), and later Isaac Newton.

Many other advances were made by Muslim scientists in biology (botany, evolution, and zoology), mathematics (algebra, arithmetic, calculus, geometry, mathematical induction, number theory, and trigonometry), alchemy and chemistry, the earth sciences (anthropology, cartography, geodesy, geography, and geology), physics (optics, mechanics, and motion), psychology (experimental psychology, psychiatry, psychophysics, and psychotherapy), and the social sciences (demography, history, historiography, and sociology).

Here is a summary list of some of the most famous scientists from the Islamic world include Geber (polymath, father of chemistry), al-Farabi (polymath), Abu al-Qasim (father of modern surgery), Ibn al-Haytham (universal genius, father of optics, founder of psychophysics and experimental psychology, pioneer of scientific method, “first scientist”), Ab? Rayh?n al-B?r?n? (universal genius, father of Indology and geodesy, “first anthropologist”), Avicenna (universal genius, father of momentum and modern medicine), Nas?r al-D?n al-T?s? (polymath), and Ibn Khaldun (father of demography, cultural history, historiography, the philosophy of history, sociology, and the social sciences), among many others.

How many times have we all said at some time, I wonder what tomorrow will bring, well not wanting to burst your bubble but exactly the same as it did yesterday, the day before that and so on unless you do something about it. Stop procrastinating, think positive and go on to change matters which hold you back from having a life that is more settled than it is at present. One of the reasons why people hold back from bettering them self boils down to that of them self. If people continue to think this way then realistically there is no hope in ever getting what you so greatly deserve.

We have over the years seen so many sad events happen in the world that has us thinking is it worth changing if no one else is prepared to do the same. Because we live in a world full of mad people who full of hatred murder and maim, abduct and terrorize is more the reason for change. Should you prosper throughout the course of change it can leave you in position to help those less fortunate. Wouldn’t the world be a lovely place to live if we chose to help one another?

However as the saying goes it is a cruel world in which we live. Some highlighted events below to help you take notice of the importance of living life to the full. Live as long as you can and die when you can not help it.

1 Let us say a prayer for those who perished, left homeless and orphaned caused by cyclone Nargis in Burma; So many needless deaths could have been prevented. The Burmese military government have been accused of failing to act to protect its people. The death toll as we speak 60.000 and rising with 41,000 unaccounted for.

2 Then not so along ago we seen the figures for ourselves where tens of thousands of people died in Iraq since the US-led invasion of March 2003. It is still unclear how many Iraqi lives have been lost in total. More than 4,300 coalition soldiers were killed – 4,000 of them Americans. Health ministry approximates in November 2006 varied from 100,000 to 150,000 dead. This contrasts with a survey of Iraqi households in the Lancet, which suggested the staggering amount of 655,000 Iraqis killed by July 2006. The entire total shows 1.2m people dead.

3 Is it too late for those whose mental health has been affected from drug use over the years

Cannabis is to be reclassified as a class B drug. The home secretary said that because of the “increased strength” of some types, she wanted to reverse Tony Blair’s 2004 downgrading of the drug to class C. She said “uncertainty at the least” on the future impact on young people mental health from cannabis. If this be the case then why this was not proposed many moons ago.

4 What of the price of crude oil going up – in a recent statement it said the price could soar to $200 a barrel in as little as six months, as supply continues to struggle to meet demand,. Oil prices have now risen 25% in the last four months and by 400% from 2001.

5 A consultation is to be launched over whether to relax abortion rules by allowing terminations outside hospital settings in England. It follows a pilot study which found early abortions using pills rather than surgery could be safely carried out in local health centres.

6 Did you ever hear the likes that Josef Fritzl, the Austrian man accused of abusing his imprisoned daughter for 24 years, should not go to jail as he is mentally ill, says his lawyer. This man now stands accused of abusing his granddaughter too. For some one to configure how to dupe society and the law by imprisoning his family for so long is not one of that I would class as mental but one clever to hide his hideous and evil crimes on those he was supposed to love and nurture.

These are just a few to mention of what makes this world one in which we do not “live” but one that we “survive”.

This post is not written to say this is truth but to give you an idea why many believe that there is a new world order.

Many ask the question what are the bases of the new world order theory? Well this is but a few reasons why people are concerned about the global elite and a possible agenda. Again decide for yourselves, there will be things in here that you can use to start a search if you are remotely interested. Do not leave me messages saying it is rubbish because that is about as use full as some one farting in a biscuit tin and saying they have done a study on sand storms. If you disagree with what is written back it by information, not assumption.

It is the idea that there are elitist dynasties and associates trying to control the masses in the aim to bring in a one world fascist dictatorship. Similar to what George Orwell wrote about in his book 1984. Many people have said he had links to certain societies and powerful people. Is that true and was he privy to something we were not or did his mind question such people?

There are said to be 13 bloodlines that can be traced back a very long way that have always been at the top of global society. They are all linked to at least one secret society of some sort through out the ages, as well as kings, queens etc. They are said to be the real powers.

The knights Templar’s are said to have started the monetary systems we have today. They were slaughtered because they had too much control, only they did not all die and they moved and evolved into other countries and societies. They were attacked on Friday the 13nth which is why it has been deemed an unlucky day ever since.

The elite of today own the monetary system and have been toying with it through out history. During the crash of 29 when businesses were crumbling these dynasties were buying up the land, businesses and erecting buildings on the cheap…basically whilst every one was in the dog house they were laughing because strangely they were not effected. As you all know Bear Stearns has just been brought out but they have been brought out by one of the dynasties with the backing of the Federal Reserve. Records show that the same family was doing this in 29.

The dynasties own the fed and the fed has massive control of the American government. They also own the world banks, control a lot of the oil, no doubt make money from opium and are linked to major arms dealerships. These are the 3 biggest businesses in the world and they can be traced to all 3 through out history.

Someone I have met has mentioned that the UN turn a blind eye to many things that go on in this world…. well many think this is because these people have the world by the balls. They control directly or through association with most things like the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the Masons, the media, oil companies, arms companies, GM companies, pharmaceuticals etc, etc. They have their fat fingers in all of the important pies.

All top politicians are linked to a secret society of some sort. Many believe this is where they are selected and not elected. Many believe they are chosen years before and then are groomed by the orders. It is believed you can make an educated guess who will be the next Priminister/President by looking who has attended the Bilderberg meetings. The meeting first took place in off the top off my head 1954 and it has taken place every year since. It has only in more recent years been admitted to be taking place at all. The Bilderberg is not an official name, because of course this wasn’t even taking place. The name was given to the group because the first meeting took place at a Bilderberg hotel. This meeting is attended by the top 120ish world players like the dynasties and representatives, but also oil tycoons, top business men and women, top media controllers, few top politicians etc. The major media outlets never cover it vastly. Thatcher went before she came to power, (many think she was forced out in the end because she would not conform) Major also went, as did Blair, Brown and Cameron has been. Daddy Bush went in 84ish, Clinton went as has his wife Hillary attended. I do not know of Americas other candidates so check if you are interested. When Americas politicians attend this meeting they are in direct violation of the Logan Act, but nobody bats an eyelid. This meeting goes on for 2 days and they have the whole hotel to themselves. Ask yourself why the top players meet and nobody hears a word of this through major media outlets? Or at least next to nothing.

The last 3 generations of Bush’s have came out of the skull and bones society at Yale University as have many other high placed people in society like heads of CIA etc. Considering there are some where between 500-800 alive at any one time this is quite impressive. Kerry is also a bones member and the 2004 presidential elections meant that 2 bones men went head to head. As I’m sure you realise the probability of that happening is near on non-existent.

A man named Albert Pike over a hundred years ago wrote a description of what it would take to bring in the new world order. The main things were 3 world wars. Apparently he described the first 2 down to a tee. This letter is in a British museum.

It is said they use fear to break the masses and also keep them under control.
Through the use of fake terror alerts they keep people uneasy and looking to their governments, their so-called saviours for protection and according to them the only way they can protect us is if we hand over our civil rights… are you sure that’s a good deal? They pass bills that allow them to spy on you, break into your homes, arrest you, take you out of the country for torture and they don’t even have to specify what the reasons are. But that’s ok because they give them nice names like the patriot act. They also have small print on the bills and we all know what trouble that can get us into. Politicians have admitted they do not read the bills as this would take them a life time to read them all, so they just skim over and sign them off.

Many people cannot walk down a street without being seen by hundreds of cameras. They believe on average 300 times a day in the cities here. These are said to be here for our safety, but what is strange is when the 7/7 attacks took place the security cameras on the underground did not work. The company who owns the cameras is an Israeli company. What they failed to mention here is that in Australia, New Zealand and others in that area were reporting the shooting of 4 terrorists in canary wharf. They also failed to mention the fact that the train they would have had to get on from Luton to get into London at that time was not working that day, so they would have had to get a later train and miss there times. But if we are to believe the official verdict they obviously did not. They also fail to mention that it is known they got 2 way tickets. They also fail to mention that only 1 bus was diverted that day…. can you guess which one that was? They did tell us they were running war games that day and they said it was purely coincidental that it was on the exact same lines and the exact same bus routes…really…well how fucking magical is that? Oh hold on a second now what other day was there a terrorist attack when they were playing war games? It is also conveniently coincidental that the witness who gave most accounts in the papers and on TV was a military demo expert. They also fail to mention how people said the floor of the train was buckled upwards as if a demo had been under the carriage floor. And how a woman who gave a completely contradictory account died in suspicious circumstances. And lets not forget the electrician de menezes who was ran down and shot 8 times on the subway a few days or whatever it was later. They said he was wearing a big jacket and suspected to be a suicide bomber…. he was wearing a denim jacket which is hardly bulky…..but of course what am I saying these are but trivial details that the public do not need to confuse themselves with.

Eric Spitzer who you all will remember if you cast your minds back a few weeks was forced to resign because of a sex scandal. Now what most places failed to mention was that three weeks before he had wrote a paper attacking the bush regime and other powers for the housing crisis and such…. three weeks later, he was out.

They control the media so we only hear what they want us to hear. Like how the Israelis are being attacked by the Palestinians, but what they fail to mention is the fact that the Israelis are a damn site more brutal to the Palestinians. But then I suppose with the mass of arms we sell them they are in a better position to attack the Palestinians. They also fail to mention how we have completely destroyed Iraq and killed in excess of 500,000 Iraqi children. But I suppose these things do not matter… do they?

This is but a tiny amount of evidence to back the idea of the new world order but there is massive amounts to find if any one can be bothered to look and base their own opinion on research rather than blind faith in their media and governments.

The first time daddy Bush gave a speech on the new world order it was September 11 1991…. is that a coincidence?

In a comparison of Indian civilization prior and during the rig Vedic period, with the civilizations of Egypt, Sumerian, Akkadian, Mesopotamian and Urr, the origin and complete form of the “state” in India there was no strong form of the state at the time. The complete form and shape of the state it was not yet taken while the Greeks king Dario us, and Alexander who took expedition of winning the territories of India under any Indian kings materially except in the form of Indian mythology which claims that the state was in origin and has taken its expansion from India to all parts of the world particularly in the gulf areas too, by keeping in mind the Vikramaditya the great king of that time whose period also stated to be corrupted with a contention to keep him above all the kings and their dynasties in the world. “God the invisible King” as the presumption has the relation with the kingship and the god whose role and act to save the people as a protector, savior and benevolent towards the poor in the world could be the factor behind the origin of the state in all the civilizations in materialistic way and in India the first god who has been well known in the Rig-Veda which is the first source of the history in India and its location of rig Vedic civilization is identified with the river Saraswati which was dried up. In rig Vedic kings list there were so many kings and whose actual physical proof not yet established in the sense and true meaning of material facts other than spiritual or mythological beliefs in India. Archaeological evidences in absence of which all these would never be treated as the kings in the history of the kings. However if it is established that all the kings were existed on the banks of five rivers by any authority either through the department of archaeology or by any credible research work it will become the believable facts and the facts in the space of mythology as the history of India with the list of kings. Hence the history of India in relation to the origin, evolution and taking complete shape of powerful state, foreign kings were took opportunity to rule the country for so many years and left their foot prints on the soils of India and it has its influence and affect on the common ideology of the people and has been played a part in molding the nature of the people of India since the period came to know to the history of the things and existence of the kings with the relation of the spirituality and mythology to the present form of the state in India. As Hegel claimed that the Egyptian and Indian gods has nearest relation in natural gods and the people of these two countries. After Dario us and Alexander the great, the first in terms of power and strength of its military might, the Chandragupta Mourya, basing on the capital city, Patna he has taken complete form of the state in India, before whom no one was come into being like him in India and much less in his power in small groups like a war lords were there in the tribal belts of the country and could not raise to his level in the might. The period of Rig Vedic civilization is stated to be existed around 1000-1500 BC. There is no unanimous opinion of the exact date of Vedic civilization in India. The period of Chandragupta Mourya is claimed to be 321-297 BC. As the first historical book, bible, in its Old Testament genesis, the king as claimed as the first king in the world is Enlil from Sumerian civilization which was around 3rd millennium. The Sumarian records also confirmed the kings list in which Enlil was the first king in the kings list. The names of the first kings and their kingships in comparison with the bible and Rig-Veda in the both mythological and archaeological accounts, whatever the evidences of the Rig-Veda and bible confirmed and convinced with the available findings it is here the facts in identifying the origin and transformation of the state to notify the developments and factors behind the state in different regions in the world. Language in which the bible is written first is Hebrew and the Rig-Veda is written in Sanskrit. It is the fact that the bible is the first book known for the subjects of origin of state, religion, and other issues in the history and it has been proving in so many subjects through the archaeological evidences since last two hundred years. Hence it is fact that the origin and its leading factors behind the origin of the state are very different from each other particularly in India from its early periods of the origin of the state in the Sumarian now modern Iraq, civilization. At the same time the form, need, leading factors, and the materialistic support behind the powerful state in iraq and in India is very different and do not have any direct link and same factors in all such origins of each state in all ancient civilizations in the world. At the same time, when the need and factors in leading the people to feel the need of the state and the social conditions of these societies are different and there is no unanimity in the features of all states in its early periods of its transformation from the nominal force to the powerful force in the shape of state particularly in India in comparison with other states’ origin and transformation. There is the gap of at least 1000 years to 1500 years between the periods of states origin in these two civilizations in the world we can till now beleive because there are no such archaeological supports in reversing or altering the periods on the timeline of the world civilizations. For those in India whose mother tongue is other than Sanskrit language, the British who translated the four Vedas, including Rig-Veda, from to English are max Muller, and Griffith and they would be grateful to them for all time.

In the Indian history the most striking and positive feature is that the state has not been worked under any influence of the religion, particularly Hinduism, at the same time the Buddhism also did not allow the religion in the states affairs from the formation of the religion and the as identified in the Vedas, Upanishads and other historical books including Ramayana and Mahabharata. The Europeans, Romans and British who were during the middle ages allowed the church to dominate the state and decide the state affairs through the church in the society. The church-state relations were in the legalized form under the domination of the church over the state and its affairs whereas the temple in India to which few acres lands were allotted to run the affairs of the state in the mostly recognized form independence from each other. The Brahmans were only allowed in the occasions of the royal ceremonies and allowed them only to confine themselves in the service of the temple and people with some little gifts offered by the people on the name of god here in India. So the history and origin of the state in India is very different one from the other civilizations from which the state and religion took birth. So the history of India and the other states history is not same one and Indian history have a special attention to dig out and apply it to the present conditions of Indian society in order to find the exact phase of passage of society towards further advancement through identifying the pace and its pulse to confirm what stage we all Indians have to move towards progress and development including understanding the exact conditions of moving the other developed states to where exactly these have to reach through the progress and development in true sense and understanding of the stages of capitalism in the world. Ayub Mohammed

High casualties and we can’t stop the insurgents. As stated on CNN -”they come out of nowhere, set bombs and traps, and then disappear. Its a real mess.” The situation in Iraq has U.S. ratings on everything from George Bush to the economy at an all time low. Iran is seeing this as the best opportunity to push the limits. The U.S. is already burdened by Iraq and the New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina disaster.

In tonights speech the President stated that we cannot give up on what we have already accomplished in Iraq. He is right. But with all our CIA, NSA, and reports from credible sources that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction hidden in caves in Syria – why don’t we go and see? Why did we let the U.N. investigators go on wild goose chases when the weapons were buried and hidden elsewhere? If Syria is really hiding these chemical and biological weapons are they really our friend? Iran knows where they are and has their own supply to boot. Notice how they waited until the U.S. public opinion on the war in Iraq started to dwindle before starting their uranium enrichment program.

According to the bible and the new bible code revelations this is all spelled out. The actual, tested, codes reveal a chemical supply (anthrax) in the hills of Syria, hidden in caves guarded by Saddams terrorist buddies. The bible codes along with the bible and backed by some of the most learned and respected rabbi’s in the world spell out that Iran will result in 3 words – World War 3! Yes, it will result in ever increasing gas prices, but it will also result in financial collapse. Many people are saying that, finally, after all these years the prophecies spoken about in Revelations have already begun. That’s pretty scary.

Regardless, Iran is obviously up to no good and should and will be dealt with severely – unfortunately the U.N. security counsel will not do anything until March. I wonder how many nuclear weapons or even dirty nuclear and biological weapons they could create in this time. What I can’t see is, regardless of religion, why can’t we all just get along and stop killing each other and playing power games?

Iran is a serious threat and will result in higher gas prices and probably cause a recession, whether or not it ends in war. We need to find and fund new energy sources, hybrid technology, etc… As Jimmy Carter said back in the 70’s – we need to lower our dependence on foreign oil or it will hurt us. We’ll this is what has happened. We as a nation are in debt to our eyeballs, we love big vehicles, etc… We need to start preparing for leaner times. A recession would hit us hard, but war with Iran, while still occupying Iraq, and still paying for Hurricane Katrina rebuilding could actually bring upon a depression – experts are now saying it is possible. We are actually in worse shape now than we were in 1929 to face a possible depression. Iran is a serious problem. The experts are in unison on this one – start to conserve.
