Yeah I’m sure Haitians would love Americans to stop sending supplies and relief. FAIL
Yes to Iraq. They should not have done that.
For Haiti it’s different because it’s helping Haiti —- Also Chile.
The War in Iraq is so complicated, I wont even get into it.
But the Haiti earthquake. I feel like we are helping those people out. On TV I don’t see anyone turning down any food we offer them. I can’t imagine how we are causing problems there.
There is quite a bit of difference in the two. One is a humanitarian action and the other is just more political crap to feed the industrial military complex. Help in Haiti is needed, you judge the other one for yourself. I did.
Come on this is the US we are the united states of “peoples” because that’s what we do, we help and we reach out for the elbow of others. That’s how you make allies and friends by helping and protecting!
Interesting how short sighted people cannot see any good out of the Iraq war. I’m sure the Kurds and Shiites who no longer have to worry about being gassed to death or having their family members carted off in the middle of the night don’t feel our involvement there was a waste of time.
But in the interest of playing the devils advocate, lets stay out of other countries altogether. Lets pull our troops out of Germany, England, Italy, Korea, Iraq, and everywhere else we are providing “free” security. And why stop at just troop involvement? Lets stop sending the 40-50 BILLION dollars a year overseas in the form of economic aid.
Without the generosity of the UNITED STATES, the world economy would collapse in a matter of days.
im all for pulling out of haiti, we hve enough problems back home that we could pump that money into and we shoul dbe worrying about OUR homeless, not some other country’s. plus everyone else seems to think the us should keep its nose out of other peoples business: so fine. fuck haiti, and chili, and everywhere else in the world that asks for our help…we fend for ourselves, they can fend for themselves…and if they cant, then its just another example of darwinism.
